Curator’s clip description

As Lionel Darcy (Frank Wilson) receives a tip-off about a plot to rob his counting house, one of his armoured cars is robbed in a car park. Driver Dick Martin (Ed Devereaux) fights back, but his mate Nacker (Ted Hodgeman) is in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Curator’s notes

A clear enunciation of the film’s aesthetic – fast, ruthless, violent, with an undercurrent of black humour. Later films like Two Hands and The Hard Word are in a similar style.
