Curator’s clip description

Dorothy (Joy Dunstan) takes off for the city to see The Wizard (Graham Matters), a rock idol who is giving his last ever concert that night. On the way she meets a dumb but likeable surfie (Bruce Spence) who doesn’t know how to change a flat tyre.

Curator’s notes

A lot of the film is composed of ‘on the road’ shots featuring Ross Wilson’s selection of songs — the influence of rock clips is very strong, as Chris Löfvén was heavily involved in making rock clips.
