Turn Around (2002)
Length: 13 minutes
Synopsis
A romantic comedy about a young man who fantasises about a liaison with a stranger, yet fails to see the real woman before him.
Curator’s notes
A romantic comedy by Sam Saunders, Turn Around is one of the Dreaming in Motion series funded by the Indigenous Branch of the AFC. Turn Around tells of the fantasy of a young man named Charlie (Wayne Munro) who goes to the city in pursuit of a woman he has met just once. Samantha Saunders refers to her film as a ‘girl fantasy’ and it is refreshing to have an all-Indigenous cast in a romantic comedy.
